Best of luck Bret, you are embarking on a journey that many have tried, and few have done.

Will give updates regularly. In the process of ramping up after a lengthy layoff last year. Only 12 miles run this week (counting the two I'll do later today). Next week, I'm planning on 15 miles, followed by 18, and then 21 to get to where I was when I got injured in June. After that, I'll slow down my ramp up, but am aiming for at least 30 mpw by mid-April. If I'm feeling good, I'll try to ramp up higher. I'd love to be running a 40 mpw base, but that's certainly a stretch goal and may not be achievable this year. Keeping the pace as I ramp up very easy - between 11 and 13 minutes per mile. Keeping injury free is my main concern. Then my next foreseeable obstacle will be the heat of summer.
