he goes "it'll be fine"
i go "if this place burns down i can get a new job... you're out a half million. whatever you want to do..."
...strangely enough, i didn't get a raise either.

Sheesh...I wish..
I just had a 6 hour class in full body harnesses, hoists, hazardous vapors, gas detectors - use and operation, confined space rescue....etc...
I have to sign off before anyone enters a permit required confined space...

So, I'm reading between your lines Ranger. I'm guessing its your company's way of getting you into padded rooms without a major struggle.

I always enjoy the entrapment procedure drill.
1 Activate PAD. (personal alarm device)
2 Make yourself as comfortable. Lay down if at all possible.
3 Conserve oxygen. Await rescue.
