It's NOVEMBER 8, NOT DECEMBER 8. 
What is wrong with my neighbors (who have strung Christmas lights on their house)?
What is wrong with all the stores (with complete Christmas displays up and decorations hanging from the rafters)?
What is wrong with the turnpike authority (telling me Seasons Greetings and to arrive alive this Holiday season)?
My mother is going to freak out when she leaves the hospital. Instead of being in just over a week, she's gonna think she lost a month.

My Christmas tree is up!  I figured it would be a better idea to go ahead and put it up then to put it away and have to turn around in a couple of weeks and get it all out again!
BTW, only the tree is up...no lights or decorations.

Our tree is going up soon. This is the first year I can put it up when I want to put it up, so it's going up SOON!
And coming down the day after Christmas too.

Leaving the gym tonight, I passed a place that had an outdoor tree and shrubbery festooned (as they like to say) in Christmas lights.
It was the RECTORY OF THE LOCAL CATHOLIC CHURCH.
