And, if it is do people get you holiday-themed gifts? It sucks having your birthday 9 days before Christmas when all you get are Christmas-themed gifts. I have even told my DH how much I hate this and last year one of his gifts to me was a Christmas-themed CD by CLAY AIKEN! 
When will people learn...(especially my DH!)
Oh, btw, he totally sucks at giving surprise birthday parties. He has already told me that I'm having one this year for my 40th!

Yeah, mine is March 10th. There is a major holiday on the 14th. I don't get any holiday related gifts though.

mine is in June also.....I liked not having to be in school on my bday when I was a kid.....and nicely spaced from Christmas.....

I'm on Epiphany...January 6...I got lots of "oh, this is your Christmas-and-birthday-gift-rolled-into-one" 
Oh, and usually there is a blizzard around my birthday so the annual go-out-to-dinner gets cancelled.
DH hasn't mentioned my birthday, so that means he's forgotten the idea that I actually wanted a CAKE for my 40th birthday.
Ok, good, now I am depressed 30 days earlier than my normal birthday fugue.

Mine is 8 days before Christmas (so 1 day after Diva).
I get a lot of Birthday & Christmas combination gifts.
I'm expecting a couple big ones this year (truck money, hitch, etc.)

March 14th is Steak and BJ day. The Male version of Valentine's Day...it's why it's March 14th.
My birthday is on Halloween and I.LOVE.IT!
The girlie's birthday is on December 11 and she LOVES LOVES LOVES Christmas themed birthday parties and gifts. We had to buy the snowman plates two weeks ago because she loved them so much.
