I remember the guy passing out glasses of beer at mile 23 or 24 when I ran Grandma's.

I was soooo tempted. But, I waited until I was finished.

Thinking back, I should have drank it.

One of these days, I want to be present when a RRer is running a 'thon.

Just once is all I ask!

Yep, I'm officially in taper hypochondriac mode - things hurt that didn't hurt before, and I'm sure I'm coming down with a cold Razz

My goals for this marathon are to not hurl on the nice volunteer handing out the finishers medals (redeeming myself from the near miss in my last marathon ) and feeling well enough to enjoy a beer in the beer garden at the finish cheers (oh, and just maybe, a sub 4 time, but the first two goals are more important!)

Good luck to everyone else running this weekend!

heading out for an easy group run tonight with a local run club to ease the anxiety.

I'll be leaving for Victoria on Saturday morning with a friend via car and ferry, who's running it as well and won't be back till Monday evening.

Good luck everyone else!
