Laugh all you want. Go to your nearest playground and watch the kids run around. A gar-on-tee some of them are laughing hysterically while they do it.

Runners make plenty of strange noises while running. the majority of them involve belching and, as termed by the British, "wind".

If I really and truly zone out well enough I start chanting to my "Running Cadences of the Armed Forces" tape. That gets a few stares...
