I fell in love with this Irish tea when I was in Dublin last year and had recently run out when I decided to take a chance and look for an importer....low and behold, I now have three boxes of Bewley's tea sitting at home and part of one in my desk at work.
RioG just told us about some Canajun candy something or other that appears to be similar to KitKats but coffee flavored, called Coffee Crisps. In looking for a picture to post to confirm this is what she was talking about, I of course stumbled on a link of places that sell them. Same for a lot of our old time candy favorites like the ones we were all posting in the nostalgia thread a couple months ago. And of course all the old classic toys are available if you look hard enough.
Is there anything we once had, either regionally where we used to live, or in childhood that is not readily sold anymore, that we can't get if we really have to have it?

I bought a beer from the West Bend Brewing company last year. (I used to live in that town) They went out of business in 1972! You really can get anything on the internet.

Care to share YOUR secrets?
Schmidt's <shudder> I think all our dads drank that when we were little. No wonder I hated the taste of beer for so many years.

| I think they were (are?) out of the Twin Cities.
When I was in college, we'd get the TC tv stations on cable. Every Halloween, most of them would report the annual act of vandalism at the brewery. Seems the local yoot would climb up on the giant "SCHMIDT" neon sign at the top of the place. And knock out every other letter.
And one of the stations, bless their collective heart, would show footage of the 're-modeled' sign. At night.

A skull, probably. I was thinking of kidneys, lungs, etc. that the person who "owned" them would try to sell. Someone once did try to sell a kidney on eBay but it was a blocked sale.
