if it is the name of a dog?

I would like to introduce Ivy Sinclair, the newest member of the Bedelia household. We've been searching and searching the shelter sites but there are very few pups around, so when we saw an ad in the paper "free puppies" we decided to give a call. Just a little more than an hour later we were driving away with a cute, cudly 12 week (or so) old puppy on our lap. The kids named her Ivy, I added the Sinclair.

Her mom is 1/2 Malamute and 1/2 shepard, looking mostly like a smallish shepard with one blue eye. Her daddy is a yellow lab, and Ivy seems to take mostly after him, though has more of a hint of red to her coat.

She is super friendly, and incredibly tolerant of the kids already. Our son was petting her on her face and playing with her tail and she just looked up at him and wagged her tail.

After a quick inspection of her new home, Ivy sacked out on the floor and has been napping. Out cat Sadie is not too thrilled with her, but I think she will warm up - she got used to our Crackers in just a few days.

Jerry is out buying all the necessary supplies, including plenty of chew toys. I have some pictures, but I can't get them to upload to my Yahoo site. If anyone wants to voluteer to help me out you can see our new little wonder. She is cute!
