civ·il - Sufficiently observing or befitting accepted social usages; not rude: a civil reply. See Synonyms at polite.

Let's keep it that way.

All of a sudden this thread reminds me of some other to be left nameless forum. I hope this isn't a trend. Sad

I believe Cappy meant to caution you not to underestimate the open-mindedness of the men here. Isn't that right? Personally, I don't see a history of the men here openly expressing abusive or dysfunctional attitudes concerning homosexuallity.

While I will let Greg answer my question, I will respond to your last statement. I have.

That is most unfortunate. Sad I truly hope that my estimation of Greg's statement is correct.

Why? Because we're discussing a topic that possibly offends you?

To clarify my position. My issue is with the generalization in your statement And sadly, it's an attitude that is shared by the majority of the males on this forum.

I felt you have/had no basis for to make that statement nor make assumptions to the contrary.

OB, pretty much summed it up very well.

Greg, I'm going to respectfully disagree, partly because of the following. Could you please explain yourself?

They weren't by my definition. So maybe I fall into that generalization. Ban me then. I really don't care.

I'm really sorry you have that attitude, Greg.

though I differ in my politics against some of the people in this thread, I am offended when people group me in a class/group are the same people that get upset when they are grouped in a statement by others.
Call individuals on the carpet for their actions, not groups of people especially 140 million people in this country which is approximately the population of U.S. men.

I also think when Greg was referring to "dem guys" he was referring to them as punk cowards. I think it had nothing to do with their sexual orientation.
People who hoot and holler like that when confronted often back down. That is what I believe he meant.

OK Joe. I'm offended by your homophobic attitude as expressed by numerous negative comments about gays on this forum

Then please explain exactly what the phrase "dem guys weren't guys though" means, when taken in context with the terms "f****t" and "limp wristed" from the first post in this thread.
