Come on, you know you want to do an Ironman, or add another one to the notches on your belt... so when and where is it going to be??
I figure I could just dream about this forever, but in reality there is no time like the present, so for me its Ironman NZ March 2006 .

I'd LOVE to do IMNZ.
It looks my my first one will be the Duke Dlue Devil. While not an M-Dot race, it's a great race that raises a lot of money for cancer research (and most of the race fee is tax-deductible).

The schedule may get moved up by a decade or so one I start swimming and can do some sprint and olympic distance tris. But a fella has to have a plan.

I'll outdo that... IMoo 2028.
A buddy of mine retired last year and finally had enough time to IM train and got his qualifier to Kona with his first IMoo. Sounds like a plan to me.

Entries are still open, so if you can get here, I'll host you
Phar Lap it used to be held in Auckland, but it is now held in the beautiful town of Taupo. Means we get a freshwater lake swim

Here's one in my back yard:

I run the same course regularly (just not 100 miles at a time). Absolutely beautiful course through the state park.

I wanted to do IM Canada or IM Lake Placid by 2011 (aka when I'm at the top of the hill at 40yrs). But judging by my swim-like-a-rock technique last night, I might need a couple extra seasons....
