Well got back from LP last night, now need to catch up on all the work voicemails/emails/etc.

thanks for the nice posts. Of course I will be putting together a very long race report but for now................

Truly the best experience, weather was very wet and windy, course a challenge(can you say hills?????), felt pretty good the majority of the time, last 1/2 of the run was definitely a challenge. Crossing the finish was truly amazing, never have I been so proud of myself. Feeling pretty good right now.

Terri rocked as well(as you all already know!!), could not have done it without her.

Many times on the run thought about all who were following us via the internet and did not want to let anyone down, thanks for the support via modern technology!!!

AND YES.........we both signed up for next year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great job! I followed you both on the internet all day.

I knew that had to be one tough bike course. Even the top finishers weren't posting really impressive bike times.

Yes Kids-I'm back. Race report and pics coming soon!!!

Did Mike mention the rain and how do they say it in Lake Placid???"Breeze". The bike really kicked my butt with strong head and side winds and a few downpours. Was hoping for a bit of faster bike But I managed. I was VERY pleased with my run time and the way I felt on the run. Definately couldn't have done it without Mike! Even saw him on the course a few times on the bike and run. Like Mike I thought of all of you at some point in the day.

Today I feel pretty good. My only complaint: Quads are very sore and my lower back is tight. Other than that pretty good.

Do they say it when you cross the finish line like they do at Kona??? That gave me chills watching it last year.
