Back in March I interviewed for an internship with a company I really wanted to work for. They had just been notified they were low bidder and should be receiving contracts soon and then they'll call for job offers.
I hear nothing.at.all. I even talked to the guy a couple times after that on unrelated matters and he doesn't mention it and doesn't mention the new project.
When I came to work for the company I am at now, they put me on the same project that the previous company was low bidder on. Interesting, huh?
Turns out, the other company did not acknowledge they had received all the addendums on the project (one page that needed 4 checkmarks and a signature) and lost a $24 million project. They awarded it to the next lowest.

I wonder if the guy responsible for checkmarks was on vacation that day.
Sounds so like gov't stuff.
I remember we had a VA paper for a house purchase in Alaska that could only be signed by ONE PERSON and he was bear hunting for 3 flippin' weeks.
WTH?
