Now, blacks are again a minority of the minority. They are losing a lot of political power too, with more hispanics getting more political savy and interested in politics.

I think I've heard 10 years until the Hispanic population is the majority....(That figure may be only for Texas though...)
I definitely believe it. Its hard not to be billigual here.

Hispanics Now Outnumber Blacks in U.S.
I thought they were 10 years off from becoming the dominate minority. I'm not surprised though. Even some of the billboards that I drive by are in Spanish only now. |
I helped. My two kids are half cuban!

That's the truth! As part of our certification...Texas cops have to learn Spanish.  It's good though and makes the job easier.

Twenty years and Texas is a majority Hispanic state as measured by registered voters. Actual population will be more like 8 years or so.
