Whom do you admire most and what way does that person inspire you?

I admire those who can write. Currently I'm admiring Ayn Rand. Her book that I'm reading is incredible.
I also admire MIL. She went from a divorced wife, mother of 2 with not even two nickels to rub together when she was my age, and now is making mid 6 figures and has been for some years. Gives me hope that if I work very hard, I can too be financially independent, although I know I will never make the money she is making.
I also admire all moms, working or staying home with their children, because it's so hard to do either.
I admire people who are organized. Before I had more than one child, I was very organized. Now I'm not. I'm working on it. It only makes life easier, and I need life to be easier.

My husband. He is compassionate, patient, loving, super intelligent, and wickedly funny - overall a great person. I count myself lucky to know him, not to mention being his wife.

Alive or Dead?
Male or Female?
This thread needs some narrowing down!
I'm gonna go with Joel Koenig.
His abilities at fantasy basketball are awe-inspiring!
