with the 6th graders. we're doing research on composers who wrote an abundance of music for the keyboard.
Chopin is one of them. Can you name some others?

no it was one of his contemporaries: J. S. Bach | It's like that PM from last week - it was either Handel or Bach. And I always guess the wrong name.

these are 6th graders, so I'm giving them the traditional, classical composers. I might let them research more contemporary composers at a higher grade level.
