A Nalgene bottle CAN withstand the pressure imposed by a car.
Car weighs roughly 3400 lbs. Bottle lives on.

It's the only way I could get it under the wheel. And I know it doesn't really show it well, but all of the weight from that wheel was on the bottle.

There was some plastic deformation that occurred, but it was very minimal. The cap still fits and it is watertight. I've heard that if you do this repeatedly, they become flexible.

I think the more important question is who would win the battle of the indestructibles, Nalgene or the Ginsu knife.
