Next week I am going to Palm Springs with my girlfriend. Just the two of us. No Olivia. I have not been away from her for more than a couple of hours (not because I cannot bear to be away from her) and I cannot tell you how much I need a break. But I have been unable to motivate myself to do anything around here and all I can think about is next week (sleeping in, reading the WHOLE mroning paper, room service, spa treatments, room service, housekeeping, room service, hanging out poolside...room service, staying up past bedtime...ROOM SERVICE...). That also explains why I have been around more often.
Please please let these seven days go by with lightning speed.

Woo hooo!!! You are do for some "you" time! I've had 2 girls trips and one trip with the hubby and both were great!!!!!!! I have another girls trip in August!!!
We LOVE our babies, but sometimes we just need time to be off!!!!
Hope the next week goes by FAST!!!

I have 6 weeks (29 paid non-holiday )of vacation and still have 27.5 days left.

I am currently burning a mass of cds to take along on the 17 hour drive to Colorado Springs. Come next Tuesday, I'll be mountain biking... in mountains. *gasp*

Mrs Boiler wants a vacation for the just the 2 of us but it ain't happening. No one in our family lives close enough to watch the kids for us!!! The best we have had is nights out when the Grandparents are in town to watch.
