not that i have a husband (or wife for that matter Smile ) but I think i would want to date again. this may sound harsh, but this is the only way i can think to put it: your SO has passed, not you - so why wouldn't you want to find love again?

I might date within about a year, but I don't want to marry again.

It also depends on the age of my son.

The younger he is the longer I'd wait to meet someone.

Date again, yes. Marry again, if the right guy came along, why not? At what time, well, it would depend on many things.

There was a time during/after the separation that I didn't think I'd date again, much less fall in love. The idea of raising the kids with a new man really wasn't something I thought I'd want to do. But here I am, and it's nice.

You just know when the time is right, when everything falls into place. And hopefully you make good choices, either way.
