make a priority to stop and check out? Nothing too far out of the way...but there is some flexibility. We've both got a few ideas, but I like to hear other's insights on this type of thing. You can learn about/see things you didn't know were there....We've got four days timeframe.
Thanks!

I don't really know of a lot of things to do here in the south, but if you two need a reasonably priced overnight stay, you can camp here at Casa Kramer (free room, board, entertainment via the children). Charlotte is pretty, and we have a few museums and an outstanding outlet mall not 30 minutes away (as if you need MORE stuff to drag to your new home).
Hope you two have a great trip.

I would make it a point to stop in Philadelphia. That way you can see your good friend genie and finally meet me. Yes, that sounds like a hellaplan.
Definitely do the stop and look. How often are you afforded such an opportunity?

Rock City in Chattanooga, TN. It's on lookout mountain where you can "see 7 states." It's kind of a tourist trap thing, but really entertaining. It starts out as a nature like thing and then just turns into one big acid trip.

I assume you'll be on I-75 which goes through Lex-vegas, aka, Lexington KY which has some of the most gorgeous horse farms. Very interesting stuff if you have a couple hours to take and tour around. If you don't, even just a brief jaunt off the interstate in Lexington is really gorgeous.
Also, as you cruise down 75 through Tennessee, don't forget to make gratuitous 'Stinkin Creek' references once you pass it outside of Knoxville. "You smell like a Stinkin Creek" "WHat, did you fall in a Stinkin Creek?" "Go jump in the Stinkin Creek" lets just say we got a lot of mileage out of it one really really tired drive back to UK from a UK/UGA game...
Be safe!

And Cracker Barrel, you'll be driving straight through Tennessee, the state with the most CB's per capita or something like that...
