Breakfast for the kiddos will be heart shaped pancakes. Lunch will be heart shaped sandwiches. Dinner, we may do take-out.

Have a Happy Valentines, everyone!

Not sure yet. Probably something like grouper or tilapia, definitely a key lime pie with the juice I brought home from FL, and I don't know what else.

If I had the time I would cook:

Scallops in wine and lemon sauce with rosemary and garlic. I would pour this over a heaping bowl of fresh fettucine pasta (like Di giorno). Little white wine, some candles

sound of record scratching....

My daughter had a special request... chicken parmesan with linguine and homemade garlic break (okay store-bought bread and homemade garlic butter). I cancelled the ice cream cake order because I wanted to try a homemade ice cream sundae pie.

We are having:
A "mock" caesar (no anchovies) with key lime caesar dressing and grated parmesan.

Two stone crab claws, with a pommery-honey mustard, cocktail sauce, and fresh Key limes

Florida lobster tails, grilled, with a red/yellow bell pepper butter

Petite filets, with a cabernet/portabella reduction, also grilled first and spiced with mixed cracked peppercorns

sweet white corn on the cob, with an attemp to follow a recipe from our own genie, with parmesan and Old Bay as a seasoning

I think that there might be a Skor bar for dessert.

And a bottle of Moet & Chandon White Star (no vintage)

We deserve a treat. Mr. Green

How many "layers" of "sauce" does it take to make "you" lasagna?
