What room in your house do you like best and why?

Well back when I used to live in a house it was a toss-up between my garage and my "room" in the basement. My room was where all my "stuff" was stored, i.e. fishing, hunting, hiking and camping stuff. Wifey decided to clean and organize it once for me. I nearly came unglued. She never went in there again other than to peer into it and then inform me that it was a total pigpen and I'd never be able to find anything in it.

Definitely the basement. The basement has an outdoors/cabin feel to it. Plus all my gear is stored there. (gear=Hunting/fishing/power tools)

Definitely the bedroom. It's the one painted room (every other wall in here is white) has the best furniture (all cherry wood) and my bed is so comfy. Have a great feather mattress on it. Since I moved my desk out, it's even better, since it's purely for relaxing and certain recreational activities.
A close second is the den. It has a fireplace, which is way nice in the cooler weather, and our leather sofas which are comfy. The den is hubby's favorite room. Also a nice recreational room when the opportunity presents itself.

our bedroom. It is a place of solitude for us. It is the largest room in our house and I still feel like I am in a hotel suite when I am in that room

Living room. Media center with CD, TV, VHS, DVD, and surround sound, huge comfy sectional sofa big enough for me, The Paramedic, and two puppies to lounge on, and the two most relaxing barcaloungers you've ever sat in. A little slice of heaven, perfect for slacking.

I'm gonna have to go with the downstairs living room. I don't like to watch TV, but something about that room makes me feel all warm and fuzzy.

definately my bedroom.
with the newly aquired tv, i'm now set with my dvd, stereo, gamecube and phone... i hope to add a computer but it won't be until next year now.
i like it because i don't have to deal with other people wanting to watch something. that and i can get some privacy with the g/f (i mean .... *cough*)

Hey, how do you like the gamecube? I think I'm getting one for the kids for christmas (after years of declining the whole gaming platform issue) and wondering how it works out. We really have to get that particular platform since the kids have very specific tates (mario, sonic) and the other platforms have little of those, if any.
TIA!
