Friday one of Little Poky's favorite friends at daycare left early because of a stomach ache. Little Poky talked about it all Friday afternoon.
Monday morning during breakfast she started talking about it again. She was making up all sorts of elaborate ways her stomach would hurt, and she would have to leave daycare early like her friend Sidney.
Lunchtime yesterday phone rings it's daycare Little Poky has been complaining of a stomach ache all morning. I so didn't believe her, but of course I left work to get her. You should have seen that smug look on her face as we were leaving daycare. You should have then seen the look on her face when she realized children with stomach aches do not get cookies and have to go to bed early.
so far no calls today...

Children have incredible minds for that stuff, no?
Michael, at his wise-old age of 2 1/2 doesn't like being forced to bed. He has now figured out that after we leave the room, yelling"OWWWEEE!!!" will get us to come back in his room. We have since ignored it and it has gone away, but the fact he thought it up amazes the crapola out of me.

What works for me when my kids pull that stunt, is that I pretend to call 911 and ask for an ambulance, or tell them that we are going to the doctor's. Problem solved

Hmmm...Mike could be a problem. He likes ambulances and actually enjoys going to the doctor. For now.
