I'm referring to the looters. Especially those who are stealing from their own neighbors. Go stick it to the "man" if you must (although that is still horribly wrong) but stealing from the homes of those damaged by the hurricane is just sick.
Bad, bad karma.

well look at it this way, more than likely they are going to health issues soon for the mix of chemicals they are wading thru to loot all that stuff.

Though I would have much less of a problem with looting a Wal-Mart for necessary supplies, this is terrible. The video shot during the storm of people looting a neighborhood mart is atrocious. I do not feel sorry in the least for those people.

Believe it or not, the fire ants can and will float and swim. Apparently the ones at the bottom of the hill die but keep the ones at the top floating. I learned this today!
I can also see grabbing canned tuna or peanut butter or other necessary supplies from a Wal-Mart, but stealing your neighbor's TV and computer? That's hardly an essential supply item.

They were talking about all the stuff in that water on the radio...fire ants, water moccasins, sewage, gasoline, trash, bio hazards...then you see footage of kids 4 wheeling through it or swimming gross gross gross "Honey come in out of the water, you have a tampon stuck to you..."

I'm surprised there have not been any "shoot-to-kill" orders.

I just read this on msnbc.
| Quote: | Looting became a problem in both Biloxi and in New Orleans, in some cases in full view of police and National Guardsmen. One police officer was shot in the head by a looter in New Orleans, but was expected to recover, said Sgt. Paul Accardo, a police spokesman.
