about the Fiesta bowl or the outcome. People here are insane; it's like a religion or something. Anyone else live in a footbal crazed town? They have actually canceled all (or almost all) of the high school B-Ball games here and cancelled a performance at the Ohio Theatre. Hopefully they won't riot on campus like earlier this year.
(The good side of this is that I have the house to myself, I can get a TON done - this place is starting to come together - and I can get some seafood stock done and hidden (hopefully) in the freezer in the basement for a surprise gumbo I want to make on Sunday).
Anyone else in on a Friday night?

I am going to rent a DVD. I forgot about the Fiesta Bowl. I hope OSU wins, just b/c I can't stand the Miami fans.

I wish we had a team here to go crazy over!
If I want to riot now I have to do it by myself.

I think the squirrels in my yard are going to start looking like that if I don't get a new squirrel feeder set up!

Unfortunately, if the rioting gets as bad as it was at the Michigan game, you'd need that.

That's so scary.
(The picture AND the rioting.)
But you are safely out of those neighborhoods now, right Kristin?

That is very true. If anything happens it won't come anywhere near here. I think they have a zero tolerance policy in effect as well for tonight. After last time the blocks where it happened looked like Beirut. It doesn't make the city or the University look good, that's for certain.

I'm home too with the house to myself, for a little while, anyway. Roomie is out visiting a friend. Didn't get much productive done, two days of work and I'm beat.....hehehe
Yeah, I guess Cheeky got tired of the shin kicking thing.

The same thing is happening here in Green Bay for tomorrows game...all the high school games are rescheduled, the big Bridal show has changed it's hours, my daughter had to babysit tonight for some people who were supposed to bowl tomorrow night...the whole town just stands still when the Packers are in town! Kind of eerie, because the streets are just dead during the game
