2 pitiful runs since I been back. It feels like I'm carrying 2 of me. When I left I was running 8min miles sometimes a hair lower, I get back and I'm getting 9's. Embarassed Is there a scientific explination for this or did I just lose that much from not running much in a week?

It will come back to you. Just give it a little bit.

CO air is thinner than St. Louis air due to the altitude. Last time I was up in the Mtns., it took me a few days before I stopped being light headed. ATL is only about 800 ft. above sea level and where we were at was much higher than that. (Vail if anyone know the altitude)

Then again, there is no method to this madness. You were thrusted out of your regular schedule (eating, sleeping, excercising) for a whole week akern, your body needs to adjust.
