1st grader on monday: I line the kids up in fun ways to keep them from stampeding the door. so I was using "pets" If you have a guinea pig, line up; if you have a goldfish, line up; etc. I saved dogs and cats for last. I still had 1 kid sitting there. I tried "no pets" and he still sat there. I finally said "Jordan, what do you have?"
his answer: CRABS!!!
 I had to step out the door and laugh.
Today: I had 2nd Grade in here and we were listening and moving to the Russian Dance from the Nutcracker. We were running in place and jumping on the accents. when it was done, Josh was lying on the floor and asked "What's the Russian word for Ambulance?"

I LOVE KIDS!!!!!!!! 
Every morning I have the local news on to get the weather, etc and they always feature an elementary school in someway giving/performing the day's school lunch menu for the main school district (sometimes they just scream it, sometimes its a skit, etc). Its my favorite part of the whole newscast. This week they have first graders from this one school, you've never seen anything so cute
