and it was pretty graphic...
I watched a bunch of 2nd year med students and a pathologist perform an autopsy on a guy who died suddenly 12 hrs ago (possibly from a bacterial infection)...it was bloody gory (bone saw cutting open the cranium; the brain removed, guts removed...) The students were initially having a hard time too...
The 1st year students were cramming their brains out for their Gross Anatomy examinations...It was funny watching them burn their notes and textbooks after their finals were over...
I've gutted fish and dissected cats, rats, and pigs and a whole bunch of other animals in various biology classes but I don't think I can handle cutting up a human body...I'm actually kinda glad that I don't have that aspiration/desire to go to med school or become a medical doctor (weird as it sounds)...not saying that grad school is gonna get any easier than med school...

autopsies were cool. i miss the "good ones" the "rotten ones" though i'm glad i never got to deal with. i hear floaters really stink.
