I do.I just got done sitting through 3.5 hours worth of meetings. I was also told I should be more diplomatic in cutting people off when they wander off topic. I gess "What does THAT have to with the subject" and "And WHO called this meeting" are not corporate America friendly enough.

I'm with you.
Last night we had a senior VP run around for several hours. By the time he got to me, I told him the info was in a spreadsheet I sent out last week. He then asked me if I could sum up some columns in Excel. Maybe he should be in the snickers commercial where the boy yells for help because he is to lazy to get the remote.

Yes, but were you in the small conference room marked "Small Conference Room" or the large conference room marked "Large Conference Room"?

our new manager grew herself a set of gonads.
she's no longer "meeting people" and staying in the corner... she's in some faces, and there is TENSION of the pre-menstrual type...
i dunno if it's that time of month right now, but being the only daytime guy i'm getting stressed out and i haven't had a legit bad day.
i'm just coming home angry...
this lady is starting to get to me *must make coup for power*...

I know the feeling Kristin (not the job part) but cutting people off who are off topic.

Well, I just got a memo from my boss. Sorry to those of you who dislike meetings...
| My boss wrote: | | I will be holding an informal staff meeting at 4:15pm on Monday, March 17th at Hooligan's. Each participating employee will receive a frosty compliments of your humble Irish-American leader. That's right - don't let my last name fool you. My mom is 100% and my dad is 1/4 which takes me well over the 50% Irish heritage mark. If you talk amongst yourselves and would like to visit an alternative establishment, let me know - it must have links to the mother country though. |

just my humble stay at home opinion Kristin, but i firmly believe that people who wander off topic need to be CUT OFF AT THE KNEES. ya done good girl. i mean, life is too short to be diplomatic and curteous in 3.5 hour meetings. sheeeesh.
