If I were running it would be a different story but I have to go to TKD tonight. We won't do anything exciting because Saturday (our next class) is our belt ceremony (I'm getting my RED BELT). So, I could really care less about going tonight. My husband already has a "written excuse" for not going and because I couldn't find a babysitter to go with him on his "written excuse" I have to go to class.
UGH! I hate feeling this way. I'm at least going to be late to miss out on the 100's of jumping jacks!

Man, it's a good thing I went tonight. The black belt that normally leads stretching wasn't there so I was in charge! No jumping jacks in MY warm-up routine.
BTW, I was 2 minutes late and NOBODY was at class yet!

It's funny you should say that. Prior to becoming an addicted runner I was in TKD. We used to work out in a high school wrestling room (small...right?). Before class we would have to jog (JOG) around the room about 10 times and it KILLED me to the point that I was almost too tired to do the TKD workout!
About 2 years later I was making a comment to a friend about losing weight and she said I should start running. I LAUGHED and LAUGHED and LAUGHED! ME??? A runner???? You have GOT to be kidding. Well, after some convincing I decided to take my first run (since college - where I only jogged (JOGGED) once in a blue moon and my high school experience was very short lived). My first run/walk was 2 miles so I decided to give running a try. 3 years later and here I am!
BTW, there is no running in my TKD warmup. We pretty much have to do the same routine. The master NEVER includes jumping jacks into the routine but the particular black belt that normally leads class does. So, that is why I can opt out of the jumping jacks when I lead class.
