Not sure what walleye is. Is that fresh or saltwater?

We went fishing at Galveston weekend before last. The water is still cold in case anyone was wondering and the only day it was cloudy ALL morning. Wade fishing when cold is not fun. We didn't catch anything. Had a couple bites but that was it. Luckily the sun came out later and I tried to catch some rays from the bank.

This weekend we are lake fishing. Trying for some white bass supposedly they are biting. Usually we catch something and have caught pretty good at that lake before so here hoping...

Trolling this weekend unless the fish 'boil' and I have yet to catch one of those monster bass when they are flipping around like that. Oh, I have a great pic of my kiddo with his fish last year. Let me see if I can post it. Shoot how do I post it? Maybe in my profile?

Rob where do you live?

I will be staining doors.

Unfortunately my boat will be used to hold door jambs. The old mercury is just aching to get on the water!

Rachel that is nice size fish!!! (unless your son is just a foot tall) Razz

It's supposed to be icky here until Monday. I'm actually hoping it will rain because my horse's pasture is drying up. They may have to come home and camp out on the well irrigated lawn for some fresh green things.
My neighbors must love me. Wink

We're patiently waiting on severe thunderstorms that may produce tornados this evening. That ruins my camping trip tonight.

The rest of the weekend is supposed to be great, so I'll have to mow, do laundry, and clean early in the morning so I can enjoy the day.

Have a great weekend everyone!

Tonight: drive to northern NJ.

Saturday: up at 5am to drive to Queens to run half marathon in the rain (though I will see monk, that will be good). Then drive home, followed by carnival and BBQ with my cool nephew. I foresee much beer and funnel cake! Then drive back to Philly.

Sunday: call from best friend. Grocery shopping with The Paramedic so he won't starve while I'm away. Pack, catch flight to Pittsburgh for work.

Other than monk, beer, and funnel cake, looks like a whole lotta pain in the ass coming my way. Twisted Evil
