More of what I know injury wise. Cody was behind his mother who was driving. He has a compound fracture of the left lower leg that required surgery. He has several stitches/staples in his head and face. His entire right side of his face is swollen and bruised, blackeye included. This puzzled them as this is not the side of his body that took the impact of the motorcycle. They them figured it out. My 7yr. old nephew was in the middle back seat and flew forward when Cody was thrown into him. The collision between Tristian and Cody caused the severe bruising to Codys face and 11 staples to the back of Tristian's head. Cody also has some blood clots in the brain as well as swelling of the brain. The are keeping him in a coma. A bit of good news, well kinda. Had Camden who was in a carseat behind front passenger seat been in the middle and not Tristian, the impact of Cody between the motorcycle and carseat would have likely killed him.
I am now trying to figure out how to get money out to my brother and his wife for the trip to Seattle to be with Cody. Thanks everyone for your prayers. I'll update as I know more.

Deb,
Cindy and I have been back home for just a few minutes, and happened to come across your story. We are so sorry, and of course your family is in our prayers, as is the family of the guy on the motorcycle.

Some thoughts:
You can purchase an American Express pre paid cash card and have it express mailed to their location in one day. Its like buying Traveler's checks but its basically a debit card.
You may be able to purchase it at a local bank where they are and have them pick it up.
Of course the Western Union money telegram.
Just some thinking - hope things are improving.
