As some of you may remember, I've been a big proponent of the Blockbuster Movie Pass. Sadly, I've run out of movies that the local Blockbuster carries that I want to see. As a family, we probably rent 8-12 movies a week. You can run through a store's inventory pretty quickly at that rate.

Hopefully, Netflix can solve that problem.

PS - My local Blockbuster doesn't carry any Pee-Wee Herman movies. Mad

How much do you spend on your Blockbuster pass? You may have to do a 5 movie at a time plan (or even Cool, but that could get up to $40 a month (I'm paying $30 for 5 at a time). If you keep a good rotation of movies going in and out of the mail, you'll be fine. If you send them all back on the same day you'll have some waiting until you get the next movie.

Am I the only one who's mind is truly boggled at the concept of 8 - 12 movies a week? Shocked

Not really. I'm watching fewer movies than I'd like to, but have been watching a lot of recorded programs on the DVR.

You will love it! You'll probably need to get either the 5- or 8-at-a-time plan, considering how many movies your family watches.

They've just dropped their prices, too!

That is a lot of TV. I'm not sure if I could come up with that many movies I'd like to watch.

That's after they raised their prices, so let's not get too excited. Mr. Green

We don't all watch all the movies.

That being said, you should see our movie collection at home. It's like a mini-Blockbuster with tons of B&W movies.

"You have 303 movies in
your Rental Queue" says Netflix.

See, that's the thing. I've never been one to watch movies just to say that I've seen them.
