He got me a new garage door for Christmas and they came to measure for it today while I was at work.

We had this big discussion about it last night. We talked about what type I wanted, the thickness, design, and color.

I have an ugly house, with an ugly brown roof, and ugly brown windows. I told him I am saving up to replace the windows and change them to white and paint the gutters and trim to white to make the house more attractive to me, to make me happier with it. We talked about how much I hate brown. I told him to order a white door.

Guess what color garage door he ordered.....

The instructions were easy.

Dad,

Get white.

Thanks,

what can't brown do for you?

EMBRACE the brown-ness. it'll be a whole lot easier than the alternative.

First, some girls are not as fortunate as you to have a Daddy who buys them garage doors. Second, when you do get the new windows, paint the door white or whatever color your heart desires.

See! Now wasn't that easy?!

Then I have to bribe him into hiring a painter!

I CANNOT PAINT!

But you're right... I am fortunate.... and spoiled. Trust me, I know it.

Oh, well, it is just old really. It is ugly, old, and not efficient and needs to be replaced.

I'm not sure what will happen to it.... maybe use it as firewood. Maybe they take it away.....

I don't know.... I don't want to think about that right now!
