Its a really really weird surreal feeling. Like I was just joking and I'll see them all on Monday. Its kind of sad even. Is that weird?

No! dang it! But, I was kind of covert in my toffee dealings. I didn't want to draw undue attention to the toffee so as to prevent them from thinking they wanted it and to allow me to eat more. so I don't think they realized how much I liked it or they might have gotten me some. I may have to ask Santa for some this year. man that stuff is good. But pricey....
They did get me a lot of cool stuff, and seem genuinely sad to see me go. Suckers. just kidding

yeah, I feel like I just broke up with someone and am doing the blurry hindsight thing, thinking "he wasn't that annoying...we had an okay thing going..." No. This is where I have an intervention with myself.
snap out of it. I want to be a nurse. That job was a fast track to being-a- yes-man-desk-jocky-carpel-tunnel-mind-numbing--fattening-hell-in-a-carpeted-box-ass-monkey-indentured-servitude. When I was 18, 20, 22 if I realized what my job would have been like and worse that I was sentimental over leaving it I think I would have shot myself on the spot. onward and upward. to the possible return of my sanity.

I'm proud of you, pfffffster!!! Even for me, who hated my job more than anything including brussels sprouts and boys with long hair, driving out of the parking lot on my last day was really weird, and a little sad. Knowing I really WASN'T going to be pulling in there Monday hit me as I was pulling off.....followed shortly by the "woo hoo's" and the "no more corporate nightmare" cheer RR is right though, that Monday was the weirdest thing, I was off and had nowhere I "had" to be that day and boy was that bizarre. As I started my new venture though, that quickly faded and I still do keep in contact with the people I was friends with there, so it's not like a permanent split.
BUT I LOVE IT!!!! Congrats to you too, when do you start school? I haven't been here much so I missed this initial stuff.....

Go buy a bottle of tequila and spend Monday in a drunken coma. You won't even remember you had a job!
Happy nursing!
