but a thorough search for weird news in this world has not turned up anything prurient enough for this crowd.
Even the Romanians have been quiet of late...

True story:
The original M-16s had an open ended flash suppressor. As part of the modifications to improve the M-16 the flash suppressor ends were closed off. Seems the American GI had discovered the open ended prongs were just right for cutting the wire on C Ration cases.
American ingenuity at work...

I had an M-16 with the open ended supressor....but I also had a big honking helicopter...so I usualy absconded with the entire case....
