GREAT !! wish I could do that !!

The fifteen miles is really nothing. The problem is I work at night so that night time commute to work would be a doozy !!

You can do it. They make headlights for bikes.

One flashy LED on the front and the headlamp

Two red blinkies on the back seat.

One flame orange and yellow vest on the back of the seat.

One extremely dorky, yet attention getting orange flag flapping in the breeze.

It's great that you're doing this.

My isssue would be having to clean up and not be sweaty in my work clothes. How do you manage this? I've always wondered how bike commuters do it?

So let me get this straight. Coming in to work hungover = OK, but riding a bike to work and reducing our country's dependence on foreign oil = bad?

We have shower facilities in the building, and since we moved closer to home the road here has a great shoulder most of the way.

In the ladies room there is a locker room with 2 showers and 4 lockers. No one apparently uses them, so I took over 2 of them for my extra stuff like shoes that I'll wear here and toiletries, etc.

It will take some pre-planning on my part, but I can see doing this at least twice a week, depending on the schedule for the other job.
