can you get some sort of nontext related study guide thingy... ive been looking for ones for biochem and saw lots for genetics. i had been using the kaplan brand for chemistry and they were pretty helpful.
otherwise, try not to stress too much, im sure youll be fine!
good luck deciphering the problem set

Someone's actually selling a supplemental set of genetics practice problems for $20 (30 problems and worked out solutions) but apparently the profs don't recommend it anymore b/c of some errors in the answer key.

Get some Cliff's Notes.
Or wait for the movie.
You sound like me when I took Algebra II & Trigonometry* (all one course) in high school. You will survive.
* Math department at Green Bay East High School - yeah, I'm talkin' to you - I'm still waiting for an answer to my question: Show me how someone not in math or engineering is going to use a sine, cosine, or logarithm in every day life. Thank you.

Relax. Take a deep breath. And start again at the beginning. The answers are in the book somewhere.

Thank you. | Well, I'm in science (not an engineer or a mathemathician) and logarithms are something that I use quite often- in chemistry, physiology, and probably statistics. As for sine, cosine, and tangents, I'm not sure

But for those of us going on to have a bachelor's degree in English, sine and cosine are utterly useless. Tangents, on the other hand, help turn 5 page papers into 7 page papers.

Tim, did you figure it all out?
My degree is very heavy in genetics. If you're ever really stuck, you can ask me... might be hard to explain over PM but I'm always willing to give it a try!

I'm now halfway through the problem set and sort of getting the hang of it although I didnt get one question. The topic's on cross-overs and chi-square tests. I'll pm you if any thing goes wrong..Thanks!
