at the Vancouver Aquarium: http://www.vanaqua.org/home/
Not as impressive as the one in Atlanta but still good...Just attended the orientation session. Training sessions begin next week and will continue for 4 weeks or so into February. I'll be teaching/instructing high school kids (who come in on field trips) some intertidal marine biology (focusing on invertebrates) in the Wet Lab...lots of hands on stuff...volunteering once a week starting in February.

And don't forget that the 7% GST was TEMPORARY.....yeah right. Then the provinces figure they need their share as well. In Ontario, the PST is 8%.
That's a whopping 15% extra to fill the champagne glasses for the governments. I hate it. See something for $50, but it costs $57.50.
And don't even ask what the GST was when I bought my house.....

On the flip side, I've worked with guys from our London UK office. They LOVE to shop over here! They'd have to buy luggage just to get all their purchases home.
Mind you, 1 pound is about $2.20CDN.

AAaahhhhhhhhh | From what I heard you only get about 4 hours of sleep...there's so much going on...it would be fun to wake up only to stare at a beluga in the face.

Good for you, TimRuns! That sounds like a great program and kudos for volunteering. I'm a high school teacher, and I think it's a total blast teaching kids at that age. Hope you enjoy it as much also.
