...., but don't know what to call it... any suggestions?
i want it to be the best/most popular thread ever, but certainly don't want to title it the "the best/most popular thread ever". That's t00 obvious, not nearly subtle enough.
So what should i call it?
and while you're at it, what should it be about??

You need to decide if you want 'best thread' or most 'popular thread' because some of the best threads aren't very long.
If you want a lot of views, be sure to indicate that there are pictures in your thread. Everyone likes to look at pictures.
