Traditonal Voices: Historic Recordings of Traditional Native American Music
that Taos Pueblo Horse Tail Dance is groovin'!
bought the CD for school because the kids are studying Native Americans in Social Studies class. I am working with the librarian to help the kids in the Learning Support classes be more successful with this project. They are gonna love this!

I love listening to the navahoe (sp?) flute. I was in Arizona one time and all the shops I went into were playing this music and I was fascinated with it.
I also love the rythm of native music.

doesn't appear to be any Cherokee on the CD. I need to refresh my memory of Native American culture (not sure that my education on this stuff back in the 70's was all that good) Is Cherokee part of a larger nation?

I'm listening to the overhead crane (150 ton capacity) trundle down the rails on the other side of the wall.

I'm listening to the sound of wet tires in the rain, rolling in traffic of Mainstreet Wobegon.
