I was riding in this morning and at the longest light of the ride, a guy on a motorcycle pulls up beside me and makes small talk. We talked about motorcycles a little bit and he said that there's a lot of used sports bikes out there for relatively little money for those days I just don't feel like pedaling.

I don't know about where you live, but they'd come in handy down here on those days when it's too hot to ride (or you've already ridden or skated) and the traffic sucks and you don't feel like dealing with it. Zip along the bike trail on one of those and laugh at the people sitting stuck in their cars.

I though he meant the smaller/scooter type ones. And yes, people ride those on the bike trails. I have no idea whether or not it's legal.
