it's an e-mail basically stating that the race is on, they've been getting lots of emails...as there are severe thunderstorms going through the area the next 2 days. However, they may have to delay the race. They did this to me in Duluth 2 years ago. it was okay for us to stand in the rain and lightning in our shorts and tees and freeze.....but it wasn't okay for us to run. The race was delayed a 1/2 hour. I ended up in the medical tent and was treated with hypothermia in June!!!!!

Thanks everyone - I thought I was losing touch with reality.
(your joke here)
Sue, I grew up in Green Bay, and I spent a year in the Duluth-Superior area. The weather is not the same - GB doesn't get cold this time of year. Don't let the reports faze you, go kick tail!
