I'm getting a little sad about my dog

We are leaving Wed night to go to Ohio and we have to leave Harley at a kennel for 5 days! Sad

She's a rescue that we just got at the end of March. I'm afraid she'll feel abandoned again and we'll lose some trust. She's bolted from us a couple of times and has shown some other confusion. She's also mopey every morning we leave for work. We're getting better with that- playing and stuff.

Oh well I guess she'll SURVIVE. and be happy to see us when we get back.

Steph just make sure to shower your doggy with mucho attention when you get back (at least 2 hours!)

don't forget to send her with a favorite toy or one of your worn T-shirts so she can have a reminder of her "home"

you're great for rescuing her. i'm betting she'll be a bit strange again when you pick her up but it never takes long for them to remember who loves them.
