I briefly mentioned to a friend a couple of weeks ago that I would love to get a deep freeze. It wasn't like the first thing on my list of "to buy" items but I thought it would be sort of a good thing to have, ya know? Well, she gives me a ring this past week and says: "How would you like to have a 'almost-new' deep freeze for $50!" I said: "What?!!" Well, apparently her neighbor is putting in all new appliances in their kitchen in black and this deep freeze is white and they don't want it anymore! So, they are selling it for $50 and it is practically brand new!
Geez! I'll take THAT bargain! 
Anyone have a house in the "wrong color" they want to sell for a couple of thousand dollars???

I got a new used refrigerator for free for the same reason. A guy I run with bought a new one and since he picked it up himself he was looking to get rid of his old one. Since the freezer I bought for 100 bucks about 3 years ago was about to die I took advantage of it. Now I just need to call the Salvation Army and have them pick up the other freezer and I can write that off.
