it's charity from a friend, but I'll finally have a real couch. I was pretending to have a couch by throwing a cover over and adding pillows to a waiting room settee like this one!
now I get the real thing!

Ah, so it's a comfort thing, eh? If you can manage it, make sure that you can see the television from it. Makes dozing off all that more comfortable...

not me: there's no one in my apartment to send me to the couch! I moved out of the house and away from the wife on Sept. 7. Just consider that my personal Emancipation Proclamation Day!

All right Keltic! My donated couch has doubled as a bed for 9 months but I'm moving up in the world..... i pick up my new mattress and box springs Friday.... and they are going directly to the house I rented when I get them. No more rinky dink apartment in town.... now it's a rinky dink house out in the country on 2.5 acres with a 2 car garage..... i can tinker on my "stuff" once again after this weekend.

Hang in there guys! I remember just a few years ago moving into a 1 bedroom apt with an air mattress, a couple of lawn chairs, a card table and a 13 inch tv on a milk carton....
