I just signed up for next year's Houston-Austin MS 150 in April! It will be my 5th consecutive time to do the ride. I'm pumped already!

Cheryl, I really admire you for doing this. A good friend of ours was just diagnosed with MS (and prostate cancer. His wife is a breast cancer survivor), and I've thought it would be great if I did this for him - but there's no way I could actually do it.

that will be enough of that kind of talk young lady!! I won't have it!
I am not a cyclist, I'm a chicken who owns a bike who brakes down hills and then uses the bike as a drying rack for my delicatges about 8 months of the year, but I raise money for MS and have a pretty good time doing it all. My mom, 63 years young (and a heckuva lot older than you), has done the ride 3 times and I think is going for 4 next year and loves the ride, does great. Mind you, our MS 150 is over 180 miles. If my mom and I can do it and like it so much that we return year after year, I have no doubts you could do it if you had the interest. If you lived within 200 miles of here my mom, cycling evangelist that she is, would have you on a bike ride with her so fast.... I say do it. No, I not only say do it, I say get Gretriever there on a bike and you both ride! "no way" she says.....Ha!
