alright, I already have one, but it's getting worse.
6th graders were here a little while ago and took a test. As they were lining up (corrected test papers in hand) many of them decided to trash them right in front of me. I asked them why they had destroyed their test papers....blank stares....so I said "I want these test papers signed by your parents and returned to me." many of them had to dive in the trash can to retrieve papers, some were even torn! Any paper I don't recieve signed will be a 0!
no respect, I tell ya, I get no respect!

I don't think it's you, Keltic. I think there is an incredibly bad case of apathy going around. Sandy Cheeks and I taught a lab class to the students here (Graduate students, I might add), we gave them some handouts and told them specifically that they would need the documents for their assignments. More than a few of them threw the handouts away, plus they had to sneak back into our lab to print new ones and they were busted 'cause they locked up the computer. Dolts!

I see no mention of teachers who own kilts and have children expelled for being evil little monsters.
That was in the "people you wish worked in your school district and taught your kids" thread.
