So last night my husband decided to make dinner. I got home around 7:30, starving, so excited for dinner.  I checked out the menu(salad and veggie burger with egg salad on top-don't knock it till you try it!), got changed, washed my face, got my gym bag for the morning, made the coffee for the morning, washed out my tupperware, made salad dressing. Then he said "did you notice anything?"
Me "no, what am I supose to notice?"
Him "The Flowers!"
Holy crapola I didn't even notice the vase with flowers! And there were huge sunflowers. I felt so bad!  I don't think I'll ever get flowers again.
So I guess the way to my heart is thru my stomach!

I hope Tracy notices the flowers I get her this evening when I stick them in her face. Otherwise, that's it!

he sounds like a sweetie pie. sunflowers are so sunny!!! um, they are kinda big though  .... i'm sure he understands. he gets husband of the day award.

I am under strict orders from Mrs. Coach to
"NEVER BUY ME FLOWERS AGAIN", because they just die.
So it's a waste of money.
However, she always likes it when I do buy them.

Yeah, I always feel bad when someone buys me flowers. I'm allergic to half of them and they just die anyway. But it was a cool gesture all the same!
And that veggie burger sounds yummy, I love egg salad!

Back to that joke about the little girl and the jewelry and the you know what....
Seriously...flowers I notice. Dinner I notice. What I don't notice and always feel bad about are when he does things like the laundry (even if he does throw coolmax in the dryer), all of the dishes, gets the dog groomed, washed my car, and I don't notice. I just don't notice stuff like that!!! It doesn't affect anything else in our relationship, but I feel guilty for not noticing. Maybe I am clueless??? So how bad do guys feel when you don't notice stuff like that? They never point things out like a lot of girls do (i.e. "do you notice anything different?" remarks).

I will not mention anything I do until she notices it. There are things I have done a while ago that she has never mentioned or even noticed.
I just do, I let her find.
I feel pretty bad though because some stuff I put a lot of effort into and she does not notice.
