| You must have not caught the news item.
The same folks who updated the calendar to add those twelve days are having to do it again, and it will be this year.
The day after December 15 will be December 17. This has no effect on birthdays, anniversaries, and other events that fall on December 16. They will be counted but not observed.
P.S. That tie is wrong. At so many levels.
