On internet usage around here. The guys in the shop have been told no usage allowed. Nothing here in the office yet but I will try to cut down a little bit.yeah right.

Our boss made an offhand comment earlier this week about walking the halls silently and observing. He said he knows a lot more than people think he does. 
We are trying to be less obvious now.

I dunno how sophisticated our IT group is at the office. The only sites I go to are here and Ebay.
My boss is a quite a hawk and she really frowns on the net usage during non-lunch hour.

They've already taken away our access to E-bay and Yahoo Auctions (any auction site I suppose).Anything humour/sex (OK I can see the sex related one for good reason; we had one employee who was such a dumas that he was caught surfing for child porn (sick you-know-what) WARNED FORMALLY, and continued to surf/download (this was before XP, and out new security policy, obviously even though he knew he was being watched. He is now gone, but good god.
WHat kills me i that when I am at home, I tunnel in through a dialed in VPN. I am no longer going through the firewall, so if I wanted to surf for pretty much anything and anything I can while I am working at home on the company laptop. You figure THAT one out.
